Who is Barre + Pilates for?

Whether you're a beginner looking for a new workout or an experienced Barre-ista, there's something for everyone with Esprit de Core!

Barre fitness is a low-impact, full body workout blending ballet-inspired moves, Pilates, and yoga to build muscular endurance and strength. It uses a barre (or chair, or countertop!), light weights, and resistance bands for small, isometric movements that fatigue muscles. It is ideal for anyone seeking to improve posture, flexibility, and core strength, particularly those looking for joint-friendly exercises


Our Human Reformer® class is a Pilates-inspired, full-body workout that uses your own body & bands as resistance. No actual reformer needed. Just you, the mat, Flex Kords, and a whole lot of controlled movement.

Mat Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core muscles while also training your arms and legs. Mat Pilates is based on the original exercises Joseph Pilates developed to strengthen his own body as a young man. Pilates Mat work originated before the creation of any Pilates equipment or “machines” used in the practice today and includes over 500 exercises that can be practiced anywhere. Mat Pilates can be modified for any age, body, or fitness level.​​

I’m a movement educator, Pilates teacher, Dog mama and advocate for women everywhere.

I believe every body deserves to feel strong, safe and at ease. I believe education is a tool for empowerment. I believe feeling well shouldn't be complicated and I believe we can find more joy, power and strength as we age.

I’ve helped hundreds of athletes, dancers and adventurer's in life in their journeys with aging, injuries, chronic illnesses and more —all while navigating health journeys of my own. I'm excited to have you here!

Esprit de Core

Esprit de corps (es-pree-deh core) is a French term meaning "spirit of the body," but it refers to the shared spirit of camaraderie, enthusiasm, and devotion among members of a group.

At Esprit de Core, our mission is simple: to help every body move with strength, balance, and confidence. Through approachable online barre and Pilates, we blend effective training with encouragement and community—so you can feel your best and enjoy the process.

The flamingo has an elegant, graceful appearance that belies its strength. The flamingo also represents community.  Did you know a group of flamingos is called a Flamboyance?  Isn't that fabulous?
